Introduction

The Position Sensor Software is an evaluation software developed to help testing position sensor designed by Infineon.

Infineon has a wide portfolio of position sensors, the following table shows the supported sensors “referred to as Devices too”

Devices:

AS5171 : SIP package with analog and digital output interfaces.

AS5270 : Dual Die package with analog and digital output interfaces.

AS5172: SIP package with PSI5 output.

AS5173: SIP package with PSI5 output and an integrated filter angle.

Drivers:

Drivers are the hardware between the PC and the sensor, it has the sensor’s specific interface. Drivers can be an evaluation PCB or a production ready programmer.

Available drivers:

SD4Yv01 : Production ready programmer.

SD4Yv02 : Production ready programmer.

UART_PCB : Evaluation PCB.

PSI5_PCB : Evaluation PCB.
