This function performs the Watchdog test.

The function runs WDT and waits for a defined period of time. If the PSOC was not reset, the function returns the ERROR status. If the PSOC was reset, bit 1 in CyResetStatus must be set to 1. If this bit was set, the function returns the OK status.

Note

This test reconfigures and enables the WDT and expects the device to reset as part of the pass path. Do not call it during normal runtime unless the system is prepared for that reset and can distinguish the self-test reset from an unexpected watchdog reset.

Returns

OK_STATUS (0) - Test passed
ERROR_STATUS (1) - Test failed
